Lucknow: 30 resolutions were passed in the meeting of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. The special thing about this meeting was that the Yamuna Industrial Authority has increased the compensation for the farmers of 96 villages. This will compensate farmers at the Jewar Airport on par with the scheme. According to the decision, now compensation will be given at the rate of Rs 2300 per square meter.

This rate will be implemented from 14 December. This will benefit more than one lakh farmers. While giving the information, CEO of Yamuna Authority, Dr Arun Singh said that the compensation given to the farmers in 96 villages has been increased. Under this, farmers will be compensated at the rate of Rs 2068 per square meter and 7% of the total land will also be given. If the land is not taken, the farmer can get compensation at the rate of 2300 per square meter. In this meeting of the board, the authority made a big offer to the farmers. Yamuna Authority Board has approved the arrival of the Logistics Hub at Tappal and the Heritage City Bus at Raya. Authority for these projects will take land from farmers through land pooling.

The proposed Heritage City in Haraa will be spread over 731 hectares. The process of selection of agency to make DPR of both cities is going on. Yamuna Authority has agreed to give 6 acres of land for the trauma centre and 100-bed hospital on the side of the expressway. This land will be given to the Health Department for free.
