It was told by the officials here that the new rates of toll will be applicable from 1st September. Let us tell you that earlier the toll was increased in the year 2018. Not only this, from September 1, toll tax on many other national highways will increase. The increase in toll rate here will also be applicable to commercial vehicles. Let us tell you that the bike and tractor have been kept separate from this.

At the same time, in the new toll rate effective from September 1, cars will have to pay an additional 10 paise per km, commercial vehicles 25 paise and large commercial vehicles 60 to 95 paise per km. With this, let us tell you that this decision was taken in the meeting of Yamuna Development Authority held on Wednesday. From September 1, the fee is also increasing at all those toll plazas, where there was no increase on April 1. Yes, and a report has also been sought in this regard. The CEO of Yamuna Development Authority, Dr Arun Veer Singh giving information, said that in the 74th board meeting of the Authority, it was decided to increase the toll rates of Yamuna Expressway.

Let us tell you that he also told that according to the directions of the court, 22 safety-related works were to be done on the expressway. Yes and due to non-completion of these works, Yamuna Authority was not increasing the toll rate. In such a situation, now the expressway management has done full work on these safety features. It is being said that from September 1, car drivers will have to pay an additional Rs 16.50 and bus-truck will have to pay an additional Rs 90.75. Apart from this, large commercial vehicles will have to pay Rs 173.25 more.
