New Delhi: After the announcement of the lockdown caused by Corona worldwide, there is a decrease in pollution, and there is a shortage why neither a factory is running, nor any vehicle is running on the roads. This will get rid of the disease, but before that there will be a huge fall in pollution, after which pure air will be received everywhere. The efforts of the Central and Delhi governments for the uninterruptedness and cleanliness of the Yamuna may not have been successful for the last nearly three decades, but during the 10-day lockdown, the river has cleared itself. The water of the river is blue as well as its bottom is also visible at the moment. Before the lockdown, the rivulet of black water was seen like a drain from far away. That is, Yamuna has presented its model of reviving itself.

In this era of crisis arising from the coronavirus, experts are looking at the river's own cleanliness as a future model, with the help of which it will be possible to revive all the rivers. Experts say that if the central and state governments understand this natural model of the river during the lockdown and make plans accordingly, the rivers can be kept clean without incurring huge human and financial resources. The problem of water crisis of large population of the country will also be overcome. On the other hand, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and Delhi Jal Board are preparing a plan to study such changes. A senior CPCB scientist told that the board will soon take samples from the river.
