'Yeah Baby' Deepika Padukone is overwhelmed as Ghoomar song wins 2 trophies

The 64th edition of Filmfare Awards has just concluded and many Bollywood biggies like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal taking home the trophy. The star-studded event in the form of 64th Filmfare Award is currently happening at Jio Garden in Mumbai and we are updating you with all the winners and performances from time to time. Ranbir Kapoor won his third Best Actor award after Rockstar and Barfi! And  Alia bagged her second Best Actress award after Udta Punjab. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat  won in four categories. Padmaavat as the films has already won three awards in the category of Best choreography (Ghoomar), Best singer - Shreya Ghoshal (Ghoomar) and Best music to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the album.

Actress Deepika Padukone was quick to react on these wins and that we can see from her tweets, which she posted after the win. Though it will be interesting to see whether the actress will bag Best actress or not for Padmaavat as Alia Bhatt for Raazi seems to be the tough competitor for her.

On the work front, Deepika will soon start the shooting of Chhapaak, which will be directed by Raazi helmer Meghna Gulzar. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and is expected to hit the screens in the second half of the year. The film is produced by Deepika Padukone and is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
