New Delhi: The number of patients infected with the coronavirus in Bihar, is increasing rapidly. Today once again many new cases have come up. More than 2800 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. Former Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha has attacked CM Nitish Kumar on the rising cases of corona in the state.

Yashwant Sinha, tweeting from his official Twitter handle, has asked, "2800 cases in Bihar in 24 hours. Hello Chief Minister, where are you? Bihar is facing a double whammy of Corona and floods at this time. Within the last 24 hours, 2,803 new cases have been reported in the state. A total of 36,314 cases of corona have been registered so far in the state after new cases surfaced.

The situation is getting worse in Patna, the capital of the state, as per the test report of July 23, 265 patients of Patna have been found. With this, the total number of infected in Patna has now reached 5347. In Bihar, 221 people have lost their lives due to corona, while there are reports of relief that 22,832 people have recovered and gone home.
