New Delhi: On the occasion of 7th International Day of Yoga, the Health Minister of the country, Dr. Harsh Vardhan has made a statement. In his statement, he said, "The relevance of Yoga has increased during COVID-19." At the same time, he said, "Yoga has helped people maintain physical and mental health during this period. In fact, today he did yoga at Maharaja Agrasen Park and after doing yoga here, he made a statement saying, "The relevance of Yoga has increased during Covid-19. Yoga has helped us maintain our physical and mental health."

At the same time, he said, "We should make yoga or other physical activities a part of our daily lives. These will help us increase our immunity against corona virus. I assure you, include yoga in your routine, it will enhance the urgency and inner strength of your body, it will also give you more strength in the fight against covid. He also said, "In the battle of the second wave of Covid, we are slowly moving towards success, we have to not be careless at all.''

He also warned, "If we rest carelessly again, there may be many more cases of covid again. From today, every citizen above the age of 18 years will be provided free vaccine at every Government Health Centre." Before this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also addressed the people of the country. In his address, he said, "Yoga has given a ray of hope to people all over the world amidst the ongoing Covid epidemic. In the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic, yoga is a ray of hope because the enthusiasm for Yoga has only increased in the last two years. This year, the theme of the occasion is 'Yoga for Wellness', and it will focus on practicing Yoga for physical and mental well-being.''
