Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a perfect mommy with perfect body shape. The secret behind her perfect body is both yoga and diet. When asked about this to Shilpa, she said, "You know what Yoga does to you is it gives you that confidence to achieve something which is on heights. It harnesses the energy and Yoga are also about giving you will-power and if you have will-power and control on your mind, it will make you reach to a higher target."
She added, "You are so calmer in your mind and your breathing pattern is also improved. Yoga is a science and still, people don't understand it. Just losing weight is not enough, maintaining weight is a discipline. Yoga is that discipline. I really suggest that anyone who is wanting to maintain weight in the long term should definitely get into Yoga."
On asking about difficulty, Shilpa responded, "I understand it myself being a working mother is difficult to take time out for yourself and especially when you have a younger child and you feel apologetic taking time out for yourself and that's Indian personality. All the mothers who are working and have a house to run to start off with a balanced meal plan. You will start dropping weight if you are eating clean and I don't mean dieting. Start including raw vegetables in the morning and you can snack on nuts. You can carry a packed lunch that you can make the previous day. It's not difficult or just carry boiled eggs. I think the basic understanding of food is lacking and that's why we have Shilpa Shetty program."
Shilpa added, "Like 15 years back, I didn't know the basic difference between protein and carbs. At that time I was young and I just used to burn it out, but you turn 35, you have to start taking care of yourself. Around five years, it had a big jump of delivering a big and then insecurities of weight that I had because whatever people used to call a glamorous or a sex symbol and to also manage taking care of my back because I have this very middle-class approach. For a common person, it gets a little daunting."
