CM Yogi Adityanath has approved the plan to provide jobs to more than five lakh migrant workers who have returned to the state from other states during the lockdown of one and a half months due to coronavirus infection. For this, the government has constituted a high-level committee. This committee will work towards providing employment opportunities to these workers at the local level, which will strengthen the rural economy. The committee, constituted under the chairmanship of the Commissioner of Agricultural Production, consists of Principal Secretary Rural Development, Principal Secretary Panchayati Raj, Principal Secretary MSME and Principal Secretary Skill Development.
