Lucknow: In the beginning of New Year 2020, the Yogi government is about to launch a scheme for divorced women. Soon this scheme will be approved in the UP Cabinet meeting. Divorced women of other religions will also get benefits under this scheme. 6 thousand rupees will be given annually to the divorced Hindu woman from the UP government.

UP's Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi has told that 'CM Yogi Adityanath made this promise after bringing three divorce laws to Muslim women, today the UP government is fulfilling that promise'. Avnish Awasthi also said that to take advantage of this scheme, the victimized women will not have to submit any type of papers. The copy of the FIR and the case going on in the court will be considered as the basis to get the benefit of this scheme.

Let us tell you that the Modi government of the Center has enacted the Triple Talaq Acts for the freedom and security of Muslim women. After the enactment of this Act, triple talaq comes under the category of crime. Yogi government of UP is also trying to makeover its image through this scheme. In such a situation, people are also wondering whether Yogi Adityanath is trying to change his image.
