In this order, after changing the name of Allahabad city, the state government has also changed the name of the Allahabad railway station. Changes have been made in the names of Allahabad Junction, Allahabad City, Allahabad Chhivki and Prayaghat under Prayagraj district.

The Yogi government has named these railway stations Prayagraj Junction, Prayagraj Rambagh, Prayagraj Chivki and Prayagraj Sangam. According to Principal Secretary Nitin Ramesh Gokarn, the Public Works Department has issued a notification for this after receiving the NOC from the Central Government. Yogi government changed the name of the Mughalsarai railway station to Deen Dayal Upadhyay station last year. At the same time, in January this year, the UP Cabinet has approved the decision to change the name of Mughalsarai Tehsil to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Tehsil.
