Lucknow: UP Yogi government has taken another big step in view of the concern of people battling the Corona epidemic. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched Pravasi Rahat Mitra App to make mutual coordination more effective in administration and governance. It is the first app of its kind in India under the direction of Ease of Governance.

This app will be used by the state government to collect data in return of migrant citizens from other states to take advantage of the government scheme, monitor their health and provide employment worthy of their skills. According to the press release issued by the Revenue Department Relief Commissioner Office, through this app, various departments will help in creating a roadmap for employment and livelihood of these migrant citizens among themselves. Through this app, the details of the migrant workers and workers who arrived at the shelter centre and for other reasons will be available. Basic information of each person such as name, educational qualification, temporary and permanent address, bank account details, corona screening as well as more than 65 information will be collected in the app.

Relief Commissioner Sanjay Goyal said that this app will prove to be a better medium of data access for all departments of the government so that in future, the correct data of migrant workers will be with their health, skills and educational qualifications, and in planning and implementation. There will be ease and the migrant labourers will get relief soon.
