Yogi government tightened the noose on Maulana Tauqir Raza, who said 'Modi-Shah accept Islam..'

Lucknow: Maulana Tauqeer Raza, who has often been embroiled in controversies due to his statements, has now been cracked down by the Yogi government. After which a case has been registered against him by bareilly kotwali police.

It is alleged that 1500 people were allowed to attend the rally. But the organizers called in thousands of people. City Magistrate Rajiv Pandey had allowed the protest on Sunday, June 19, on the application of IMC corporator Farhat Khan and mahanagar president Makhdoom Beg. Clear instructions were given in the permission that a crowd of more than 1500 people will not be at Islamia Ground and corona protocol will be followed.

Police said, the IMC leaders violated the conditions of permission. Instead of 1500 people, a crowd of thousands was called to the rally. A case has been registered under Section 188 against IMC district president Farhat Khan and Mahanagar president Makhdoom Baig in Kotwali on behalf of city magistrate Rajiv Pandey in this case. In the same rally, Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) chief Maulana Tauqeer Raza had advised PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to read the kalma and understand Islam. At the same time, the Maulana had also asked him to become a Muslim.
