Lucknow: A new strategy is constantly being adopted by the Yogi government to provide beds to patients. After increasing beds in government hospitals, takeovers in private hospitals, preparations are now being made to send patients to home isolation as soon as the symptoms are over. A new protocol is being prepared for this. This will allow more patients to get treatment with less manpower. It will be released within a week.
The state has received 18021 new cases on Tuesday. In this alone, 5382 patients have been found in Lucknow. The number of active cases is 95980. There are 2500 serious patients admitted to different medical institutes of Lucknow. This protocol has been made to discharge the patients admitted to the hospital. Under this, patients without symptoms are discharged after seven to 10 days. The symptomatic patient is discharged seven days after the termination of all symptoms or after the RTPCR test report is negative. Sources say that changes are being made to it.
The new strategy involves preparing non-symptomatic people in home isolation. Those who are in the grip of different serious diseases will be admitted to the hospital and examined. Discharge can be done on the second day only after improvement in other standards including oxygen level.
