Yogi govt alerts on third wave, special arrangements made for children

Lucknow: The second wave of corona epidemic has affected Uttar Pradesh a lot. However, the situation is now gradually improving and new corona cases are continuously declining. Meanwhile, the Yogi government has started preparations to prevent a possible third wave of corona. Up will have a special vaccination camp for parents of children below the age of twelve years.

PICU, the process of setting up in district hospitals in NICU has also been initiated. At the same time, the process of strengthening the health infrastructure of the rural area has been allowed. Public representatives have also been added to the action and asked to adopt the hospital. CM Yogi Adityanath himself is gearing up to save children from the third wave of corona. A new feature is being added to connect children to AYUSH Kavach. The government is creating separate wards for children in each district. These wards will have 20 to 25 beds for children. It also covers 38 hospitals ready to deal with Japanese encephalitis.

State that separate wards for children were created in 38 districts for Japanese encephalitis in Purvanchal. The government of specialist doctors has also constituted a committee headed by the director of PGI lucknow. The committee comprises several specialist doctors including Lucknow Medical College, Lohia Institute. There will be availability of medicines and beds for children as well as separate ambulances which will be reserved by the government.
