Lucknow: After bringing MLA Mukhtar Ansari from Punjab to Banda Jail, now the Yogi government is also preparing to bring Mafia and former MP Atik Ahmed from Gujarat to UP. This claim has been made by the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Anand Swaroop Shukla. On Thursday, Shukla told the press persons that the Yogi government was able to bring Mukhtar Ansari back even after all the punishments imposed by the Punjab government. After which fast efforts are also being made for Mafia Atik Ahmed.

He further said that Atik Ahmed is currently in jail in Gujarat. His time is also coming. He has troubled the people of Uttar Pradesh a lot. The public wants to punish such criminals. He further said that it is the responsibility of the Yogi government to bring such criminals back to the state and get them punished before the court.

Let us know, recently, MLA Mukhtar Ansari has been shifted from Ropar Jail to Banda Jail in Uttar Pradesh. Former MP Atiq Ahmed's criminal record is also similar to that of Mukhtar Ansari.
