Lucknow: The Central government has increased dearness allowance (DA) for employees and pensioners. The Central Government has announced a three per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) before Diwali. With this announcement, 16 lakh employees and pensioners of Uttar Pradesh are also likely to get DA before Diwali. Because elections are due and it is believed that the state government may announce it soon. It is being reported that the state government may give bonus gifts to state employees along with the salary for the month of October.
If the state government increases the dearness allowance of employees, the employees will get an October salary, increased DA and bonus before Diwali. That is, overall, the Diwali of the employees is going to be a good one. At present, the state finance department is gearing up for it after the central government's decision and it is being reported that it may be announced by the state government today or tomorrow.
At present, a file is ready to provide a bonus to 14.82 lakh non-gazetted employees, daily wage earners and working charged employees of the state and the government has also given the green signal and its mandate may be issued soon. The central government circular is said to be awaited for the preparation of DA files and the state government will soon announce an extension of the DA of employees.
