New Delhi: Discussion has started regarding this job in the ongoing budget session in the Parliament. Communist Party of India Marxist (CPM) MP asked in Rajya Sabha why Muslim women are not being allowed to wear Hijab. Criticizing the central government, CPM MP John Brittas attacked Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

The CPM MP said in the Rajya Sabha that, 'the Karnataka government told the Supreme Court that they are not allowing hijab in schools and colleges to maintain secularism. But, why is there no objection in a country like India, when UP CM Yogi Adityanath always wears saffron color?' John Brittas claimed that the BJP government's obstinacy on the issue of hijab is actually harming Muslim women. He claimed that one lakh Muslim students have dropped out of schools and colleges in Karnataka alone. He demanded that the government implement the Sachar Committee report on the backwardness of Muslims in education and social sectors.

Let us tell you that last year there was a political uproar over the ban on wearing hijab in government colleges in Karnataka. Defying the government ban, Muslim girl students in the state were seen trying to enter schools and colleges wearing hijabs. Minorities also took to the streets to protest violently. Because of this hijab, some people of the majority class were also murdered.
