Seoul: Next week, Yoon Suk Yeol, the president of South Korea, will visit France and Vietnam, where he will meet with the leaders of both nations, Yoon's office announced on Tuesday.
During his visit to Paris between June 20 and 21, Yoon will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, according to Kim Tae-hyo, Yoon's deputy national security adviser.
Additionally, he'll be present at a meeting of the Bureau International Expositions (BIE), which is in charge of planning Expo 2030.

The purpose of the trip is to publicise South Korea's proposal to host the expo. In November, the nation that will host the 2030 World Expo is anticipated to be chosen.
On June 22, Yoon will travel to Vietnam as part of a state visit at the invitation of President Vo Van Thuong.

A 205-person business delegation will accompany the president of South Korea on his state visit to Vietnam, according to the news agency Yonhap.
