Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced recruitment notification for the posts of Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary), Constable (Animal Transport) and Constable (Kennelman) on temporary basis which may be permanent. • Maximum Age for Constable (Animal Transport): 25 Years (Born between 11 September 1999 to 10 September 2006)

    • For other states and union territories: Male 170 cms, Female 157 cms
    • For Special Categories: Male 165 cms, Female 155 cms
    • For North Eastern States: Male 162.5 cms, Female 152.5 cms
    • For ST: Male 160 cms, Female 147.5 cms
  • Chest (Male Only):
    • For other states and union territories: 80 cm without stretch, 85 cm with stretch
    • For special categories: 78 cm without stretch, 83 cm with stretch
    • For North Eastern States: 77 cm without expansion, 82 cm with expansion
    • For ST: Unexpanded 76 cm, Expanded 81 cm
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age

• For Constable (Animal Transport):

  • Height:
    • For other states and union territories: Male 170 cms, Female 157 cms
    • For Special Categories: Male 165 cms, Female 155 cms
    • For ST: Male 162.5 cms, Female 150 cms
  • Chest (Male Only):
    • For other states and union territories: 80 cm without stretch, 85 cm with stretch

Minimum Medical Standards:

• Eye Sight: Minimum distant vision 6/6 and 6/9 for both eyes
• Visual Acuity: Near vision – N6 (better eye), N9 (worse eye); Distant vision – 6/6 (better eye), 6/9 (worse eye)
• Refraction: Visual correction not allowed

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• For Male Candidates:

  • Race: 1.6 Km distance to be covered in 7:30 minutes
  • Long Jump: 11 Feet (03 Chances)
  • High Jump: 3.5 Feet (03 Chances)

• For Female Candidates:

  • Race: 800 meter race to be completed in 4:45 minutes
  • Long Jump: 9 Feet (03 Chances)
  • High Jump: 3 Feet (03 Chances)
