National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) has announced a new recruitment. Applications are invited for the post of Software Engineer (Frontend Development) under the project "Enhancing the Interoperability, UI and Documentation of MOOSE" supported by the Kavli Foundation. Job Description

eligibility criteria

1. Educational qualification:

   • Candidates must possess BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering, or related stream from a recognized university/institute.
   • Educational qualification should be with minimum 60% marks.

2. Experience Required:

   • Proficiency in Python programming is required.
   • Must have experience in Graphical User Interface (GUI) development.
   • Must be familiar with Git and GitHub for distributed version control.

3. Age Limit:

   • The upper age limit has been fixed at 40 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting:

   • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their online application.

2. Interview:

   • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Only candidates selected for interview will be informed.

3. Final Verdict:

   • NCBS reserves the right to cancel the recruitment if suitable candidates are not found. Decisions taken during the selection process will be final.
