Patiala: Two groups of youth congressmen returning from CM Captain Amarinder Singh's rally clashed near NIS Chowk on Sunday. Meanwhile, two youths were injured in the firing. They have been admitted to the Government Rajindara Hospital. SP City Varun Sharma said that some unknowns have been registered in the case including Harvinder Joi, Amar, Shibu, Gopi, Guri and Sonu Painter. Criminals are being searched.

According to the information, about 5 months ago, Shamsher Singh, a supporter of Youth Congress leader Harvinder Singh Joi, was killed in Patiala. In this case, 15 members of his faction, including youth Congress SK Khorod, were nominated. From then on, the envy of the Joi and Khorod factions was increasing. After the Chief Minister's rally ended at 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon, clashes started between the two groups at NIS Chowk. Two youths Charanjit Singh and Rehan were injured in the shooting. Charanjit was hit by two bullets while Rehan was shot in the back.

It has been learned that Officer Colony Police Outpost Gurpinder Singh said that both the injured have been admitted to Rajindara Hospital. The injured Rehan states that "Harvinder Singh Joi and his associates were firing, causing injuries." At the same time, Joey alleges that the other faction opened fire on him. Police was stationed in the district in view of the Chief Minister's rally. Despite this, the firing puts a question mark on the police administration.
