New Delhi: National President of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Srinivas BV has approached the Supreme Court to avoid arrest. Let us tell you that this matter is related to the allegations of Angkita Dutta, head of the Assam unit of the Indian Youth Congress. Congress leader Agankita Dutta has accused Srinavas of sexism and mental harassment. 

According to the report, now Srinivas BV has moved the top court in this matter and challenged the decision of the Gauhati High Court. In fact, the Gauhati High Court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of ​​Srinivas BV. Now this decision of the High Court has been challenged in the apex court. An appeal was made on behalf of Srinivas's lawyer for an early hearing on this matter. The apex court is going to hear the matter on May 15. The Chief Justice (CJI) said that the petition of Srinivas BV will be heard on May 15. Let me tell you, before this, Angkita Dutta had leveled serious allegations against Srinivas by tweeting one after the other. During this, she also accused former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi of not listening to her.

Along with this, she had also told that she had complained about this matter to Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal and Priyanka Gandhi several times, but never listened to her. Angkita had said in the tweet that Srinivas feels that he is very powerful and has the blessings of big leaders. In such a situation, he can harass women in the organization, can humiliate them. The Congress leader alleged that Srinivas is avoiding wrongdoings under the guise of PR. She had also put this issue in front of Rahul Gandhi during Bharat Jodo Yatra, but no response was given and no action was taken from his side.
