Noida: Noida Police took YouTuber Elvish Yadav into custody on Sunday following allegations of his involvement in supplying snake venom at a suspected rave party in Uttar Pradesh's Noida. The arrest came after forensic reports confirmed the presence of snake venom in samples collected from a gathering held at a banquet hall in Noida's Sector 51 on November 3 of the preceding year.

Elvish Yadav, along with six others, faced charges under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and IPC Section 120A, which deals with criminal conspiracy. Despite being questioned earlier, authorities had not arrested the former Bigg Boss contestant until Sunday's development.

The case garnered significant attention due to the involvement of a prominent YouTuber and the nature of the allegations, which sparked concerns regarding wildlife protection and public safety. The arrest underscores law enforcement's efforts to address such serious allegations and uphold legal standards in the region. Further investigations are expected to shed light on the extent of involvement and any additional individuals implicated in the case.
