Salman Khan’s last blockbuster Sultan has crossed the Rs 300 crore; tweeted Taran Adarsh.As it becomes the second film to do so after Aamir Khan’s PK.

Taran’s original tweet read as, “#Sultan [Week 5] Fri 24 lacs, Sat 49 lacs, Sun 78 lacs, Mon 16 lacs, Tue 16 lacs, Wed 15 lacs. Total: ₹ 300.21 cr. India biz.”

Yash Raj Films,the makers of Sultan has said,“it will honour Indian athletes who win gold at the Rio Olympics with Rs 10 lakh”

Sultan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, it features superstar Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma.
