Kohima : The department of Youth Resources & Sports virtually launched the Education & Career Fair Launchpad at the Directorate YRS, Kohima on August 4th, 2021. Advisor, Youth Resources & Sports, Er. Zale Neikha, thanked the department of Youth Resources & Sports, YouthNet and supporting department, School Education for working tirelessly to help the students in their career guidance and expressed hope that the career guidance program will improve the society to move forward.

He also announced the Launchpad Awards and gave away smartphones to three students: Ethel A Konyak of Government Higher Secondary School, Tizit; Leyang B. N Shiu of Government Higher Secondary School, Tuensang and Ayimwati of Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School. Laptops were awarded to two students: Nithosano Nagi of Jotsoma Government Higher Secondary School and Dina Rai of Government Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.

Scholarship for Graduation was also awarded to five students: Rosy Konyak of Government Higher Secondary School, Mon, graduation in English at Government College, Dimapur; Tsarobi of Government Higher Secondary School Kiphire, graduation in Economic at Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire; Muthiam P, Government Higher Secondary School, Noklak graduation in History at Capital College, Kohima; T. Chijava, Bautung Government Higher Secondary School, graduation in Education at Yingli College, Longleng. Best School Award was bagged by Tizit Government Higher secondary school, Mon and best Teacher was awarded to Chubarenla Imsong of Bautung Government Higher secondary school. Director, YouthNet, Nuneseno Chase highlighted on the overview of the Launchpad and welcome address was delivered by Director, YRS, Akumla Chuba while vote of thanks was said by public information officer, Libemo Jami.
