YS Jagan Reddy files Nomination for Pulivendula Assembly seat

Kadapa Mar 22: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy filed his nomination from Pulivendula constituency of Kadapa district for next month's elections to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Friday. Accompanied by party leaders, the Leader of Opposition filed his papers before the Returning Officer in Pulivendula town in Kadapa district. YS Jagan has submitted the nomination documents at the office of Pulivendula Returning Officer at afternoon around 1:50 PM. Earlier in the day, all religious prayers were conducted at YS Jagan's house.

Jagan is up against TDP’s Chandrababu Naidu for the post of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. Alleging that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was hatching a conspiracy to target YSRCP leaders, Jagan asked people not to get provoked. Jagan said the TDP government was trying to target his family and the party while referring to the murder of his uncle Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy. YS Jagan also has stated in the affidavit that, there are a total of 31 cases on him. YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy has declared assets worth Rs 375 crore in his election affidavit, whereas his wife has declared assets worth over Rs 124 crore. Their two daughters have assets worth Rs 6.5 crore and Rs 4.6 crore, taking the family’s total assets to Rs 510 crore.
