NEW DELHI: In a big political Blow, YSR Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will move forward for acceptance of their notices for the no-confidence motion against the Narendra Modi-led- government when Lok Sabha meets on Monday in the course of no signs of a let-up in the Parliament standstill.

Y V Subba Reddy of YSR Congress noted down to the Lok Sabha secretariat to table his notice in the revised list of business for Monday. TDP has also moved a notice for a no-confidence motion, as parties like Congress, Left, Trinamool and RJD have come out in its support.

When their notices were not acknowledged and accepted last week, parliamentary affairs minister Ananth Kumar had stated they could not be taken up due to the House being not in order, with members of several parties raising slogans in the fighting fit.

With Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and AIADMK, which have often assisted with the government on its legislative business, protesting over a multitude of issues, it remains in doubt if the order can be restored in the lower House on Monday.

Despite the fact that the first two weeks of the last phase of the budget session have been a disappointment, the government has managed to get some key bills and the budget passed amid disturbance through a voice vote without discussion or debate.
