Now audience will see the collaboration of Dhanush and the director Balaji Mohan are 9 years they are shaking hands for the upcoming Tamil film 'Maari' and it is already announced that the film will also star Sai Pallavi, Krishna and Tovino Thomas, who will play the role of antagonist. Ever since the sequel was announced, one question that everybody has been asking about is whether the project will mark the reunion of Dhanush and composer Anirudh Ravichander. Having worked together in films such as 3, VIP and Thangamagan, the duo had a fallout post-Maari and stopped working together. Amidst rumours that they might rejoin for Maari 2, it has been learnt that Dhanush has opted for Yuvan Shankar Raja.
In Maari 2, Dhanush will return as a dhoti-clad, moustache twirling local rowdy. Actors Robo Shankar and Vinod, who played Dhanush’s sidekicks, have been retained in the sequel. It has also been confirmed that the film, to be bankrolled by Wunderbar Films, will be made as a bilingual and will be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu. Dhanush has already got a lot of fame in Bollywood industry for the movie 'Raanjhaana' starrer with Sonam Kapoor and no doubt in the movie was a super hit and Dhanush was seen in the role of Tamilian.
