New Delhi: After finishing net practice in Dubai, confident Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has said, "The old Yuji is back.'' The second phase of the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played in UAE from September 19, which was suspended earlier this year due to corona infection cases inside franchise camps.

RCB is currently third in the IPL point table with five wins in seven matches. In a video posted by RCB's official social media accounts, Chahal says, "Obviously, the sentiment was good. The heat was fine, I am happy with the way I bowled. I am excited, we are in a good position in the point table and we have a very good opportunity to stay at the top of the table. When you bowl well in the nets, you always feel good. I can say that the old Yuji is back.''

The season will starts with defending champions Mumbai Indians in Dubai on Sunday with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Earlier, the BCCI announced that limited spectators will be allowed to visit stadiums for the rest of the season. "This match will be an important opportunity as IPL will welcome fans back to the stadium, after a brief break due to the corona situation," IPL statement said.
