Ajmer: Rajasthan's Ajmer police has arrested two youths named Salman Khan and Aman Khan for kidnapping a minor girl. The age of the victim is 14 years. Salman and Aman Khan have been handed over to the Hanumangarh police. Auto driver Zakir Hussain has helped in getting both these accused arrested. Both the accused were arrested on Saturday (May 6).

According to media reports, the case pertains to village Dabli Ratan under Hanumangarh district. Tension flared here after a 14-year-old minor girl was kidnapped by a man named Salman. The local people had closed the market near the village in protest. The people not only demanded that the girl be recovered safely at the earliest, but also arrested Salman and demanded strict punishment in front of the administration. In view of the seriousness of the matter, the police had started swift action to recover the girl.

According to reports, the police had formed 10 to 12 different teams in this case. The total number of policemen involved in the action was more than 100. Apart from this, the police force of the nearby districts were also informed. In preliminary investigation, Hanumangarh police received information about the girl and the kidnappers being in Ajmer. Police teams of both the districts discussed this information among themselves. Ajmer police had distributed the picture of the girl and Salman among the auto rickshaw drivers. He was asked to contact the police on any information.

It is being told that the auto driver Zakir Hussain contacted the police at around 3 am on Saturday. Zakir told the police about a couple who got off the bus and were looking for a hotel room for a month. On information about the presence of Salman and the kidnapper at the bus stop, the police immediately raided and took both of them into custody. During the search, the police recovered Rs 1.29 lakh, 2 SIM cards and some valuables from Salman.

In this kidnapping case, the police have also arrested another accused Aman Khan. Aman Khan is accused of assisting kidnapper Salman Khan. At the same time, the police have also honored the auto driver Zakir Hussain for giving accurate information.
