Actually, here a wonderful 'baby' has been born from the combination of zebras and donkeys, which is being called 'Jonki'. It is a mixed form of zebra and donkey.
This small 'jonkey' seen in these pictures is borne by the female Zebra. You can see that the child has stripes just like the zebra on the feet while the rest of the body is just like a donkey. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has shared pictures of 'Jonki' on its Facebook page and has told about it. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has written, 'This is' Johnky'. In May last year, the Shavo Mobile Veterinary Unit received a call from KWS Community Modern. There was a zebra who came out of Tsavo National Park and was living in a community bordering the park. He made his home with a herd of cattle. Their position remained the same for several weeks until its story was aired on the local media. Then later our team transferred Zebra back to the protected area. '
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust further told that now that Zebra had become quite used to living with cattle, we had to choose his new house keeping him in mind. We sent him to the Kenje Anti Poaching Team Base of Chulu National Park, so that it could be monitored. Earlier this year, we saw a child of Zebra, who seemed to be a mixed form of donkey and zebra. At first we thought that perhaps his stripes are not visible due to mud, but later we came to know that it is unique, which has been named 'Jonki'.
