Bollywood actor, writer, director and producer Zeishan Quadri is in the news these days. A case was registered against him by the Malad police last week. Producer Shalini Chaudhary had accused Zeishan of borrowing an Audi car worth Rs 38 lakh and selling it for Rs 12 lakh. Now in a conversation with a famous website, Zeishan Quadri has opened up on the allegations against him. With this, he has said that an attempt is being made to defame him.
In fact, he said- "My silence in this whole matter was considered as my weakness. Even during the first complaint I kept quiet and still, I do not say anything but now I cannot remain silent. Second, I wanted to make my case legally. A deliberate attempt has been made to malign my image. These people threatened me because they were afraid that I would file a police complaint against them which would lead to an FIR. So, before that, they filed an FIR. FIR against me. Also, they didn't want me to come forward and talk to the media but they dug a pit for themselves."
At the same time, in his statement, he accused Shalini of trying to kidnap. Zeishan said, "Let me tell you, not only have I been threatened with death, but once Shalini Chaudhary along with five people tried to kidnap me in front of a cafe in Oshiwara, Mumbai. They shouted at me and told me that if 'we slapped you' here, what will be left in your honour?'' The interesting thing is that they brought me to their house. The video they are showing was shot in my house, and I was forced to talk in it. It says 'You should return the car's money.'
Apart from this, he said, 'They created a ruckus at my house. Now they probably don't know that they forcibly shot the video on my home CCTV camera in HD quality and clear sound. I have submitted that recording to the police station in Oshiwara.' With this, he further said, "Last time when the complaint was made, the High Court had granted me bail. Whatever is written in it, I am going to reveal it to the media as well. Threatening audio on my WhatsApp chat. There are messages. I am going to expose everyone and in this I am going to expose those people who are using my name for their political purposes also. I have not lost anything in this whole matter but it has helped me. The image has been tarnished. Even though I am innocent, it will take me time to prove it. How many thefts happen every day across the country because Zeishan's name is associated with it, so it is obvious that they'll come to headline because of my name.
