In the Zwigato trailer, comedian Kapil Sharma, known for his comedic timing, is depicted in a totally different role. On Monday, the movie's trailer was made public after it recently made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami play the main characters in the Nandita Das-directed film.

With the caption, "After the successful world premiere at @TIFF NET, Zwigato is all set to win hearts at @busanfilmfest," Kapil Sharma posted the trailer on his social media accounts on Monday. Check out the international trailer for a sneak peek into the Zwigato universe. He was depicted in the trailer as a delivery boy who was working hard to support his family.

The 1.39-minute long video began with Kapil carrying a stack of pizza boxes into a posh apartment and climbing the stairs after learning from a memo that delivery boys are not permitted to use the elevator to find a lone drunk man. The actor is portrayed as a devoted father of a daughter and a son who, despite his son's sarcastic remarks, starts each day with optimism. In addition, he finds it difficult to spend time with his Shahana Goswami-portrayed wife.

Shahana starting working to support the family, which causes things to start getting more difficult for them. A man rides up to Kapil on his bike and asks if he can make deliveries on a bicycle, further illustrating the suffering of the working class. He responds, "Or maybe he's helpless, that's why he's a labourer," after reading a pamphlet that stated, "He's a laborer, that's why he's helpless." As an order is cancelled toward the end, an irate Kapil slams his phone. He mentions to his wife that management expects him to pursue incentives, never voice dissatisfaction, and be a good boy.

According to Zwigato's official synopsis, "In the movie, the former floor manager of a factory loses his job as a result of the pandemic. He then struggles with the world of ratings and incentives while working as a food delivery rider. His stay-at-home wife starts looking into different employment options in order to supplement the family's income, both nervously and eagerly anticipating her newfound independence. The movie is about how life is relentless, but there are also shared joyful moments."

The movie was shown in the festival's Contemporary World Cinema section. The 27th Busan International Film Festival, which is slated to run from October 5 to 14 this year, will now host the film's Asian Premiere.
