 Kangana Ranaut has been shining dazzlingly on celluloid with her mysterious performance in Hansal Mehta's 'Simran', and the box-office numbers are proof.

According to the latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film has raked in as much as Rs 10.63 crore approx in four days with Monday's collections being estimated at around Rs 1.15 crore. The film opened to a slow start with an estimated collection of Rs 2.43 crore approx on Friday, followed by Rs 3.40 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.65 crore on Sunday.

 Simran is loosely based on the life of Sandeep Kaur, an NRI in the United States who has been convicted of four bank robberies. Known to go to great lengths to get into the skin of her character, Kangana took diction lessons to pull off the role of a Gujarati girl convincingly. 'Simran' also stars Sohum Shah. Taran Adarsh blamed Simran's low box office score on Sunday to the first match of the ongoing India vs Australia domestic series.
