$1 million prize money is waiting for the winner of the AFC Cup while the runner-up will be receiving half million. Bengaluru FC will be taking on Iraqi football club Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya competing for the final game.

It is for the first time any Indian club has made it to the finals of AFC cup. Previously in 2008 and 2013, Dempo and East Bengal have made it to the semi-finals.

"The entire country is behind them.They have vindicated our decision a few years back to give them direct entry and are now a template for other clubs to follow in India," I-League CEO Sunando Dhar told IANS over a phone.
