Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sakshi Maharaj earlier today gave a controversial comment on Muslims. He said "This population rise in not because of the Hindus. Population has risen due to those who support the concept of four wives and 40 children,.
Now, after the above statement he has said “We should be rewarded, as I have four brothers and we all are unmarried and thus we don’t have any child,”.
On his remarks the BJP party had distances itself from Maharaj by saying that it is his personal views and it doesn't represent the party opinion.
