Yesterday in the night the Trinamool Congress workers attacked the home of BJP leader Krishna Bhattacharya after the arrest of party MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay in connection with the rose valley chit fund scam.
Today, the workers have blocked the National Highway 2 near Asansol showing protest agains the arrest. Vehicles cannot move due to the blockage.
He was arrested few hours after he met the central bureau investigation team where he was interrogated regarding his connection with scam.
