Alia Bhatt started off her acting career at very young age with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year and for which she received a lot of criticism and even called such heroine who will have no bright career in the industry. But the girl proved everyone wrong with her second film Highway.

Moreover, her latest released film shuts everyone's mouth forever. Whether it be Highway, Dear Zindagi, Udta Punjab or BKD, Alia has made her point very strongly.

Alia recently told in an interview, "In acting, you can pretend to be 20. Or much older, if you like. I’ve been offered films with Ranveer, Hrithik. Back in the day, there used to be movies only about love, or there were action films. We hope to make different kinds of movies now, with different kind of stars."

She also shared her experience of working in Udta Punjab, "I was shocked by just one shot…Sometimes you just have to imagine that it’s happening to you, and the reality of it throws you off. This can’t happen in every shot, of course."

Alia also described, "There is a scene in Udta Punjab, where I am near a haystack, and I break down, looking up to the sky, with Shahid around. I truly felt that moment. Later, of course, I got irritated when everybody on the set started getting worried and all." Alia believes, "I don’t like taking myself too seriously. I’ve performed from instinct, responding to what comes from inside. Acting is second-nature to me, it’s not a job."
