The Indian team player Ravichandran Ashwin is currently playing in the second Division of County Cricket on behalf of Worcestershire and today made his first half-century against Durham.

Ashwin was one of the good scorers for the team as he scored 82 runs in 130 balls. On Ashwin's innings, the team of Worcestershire at 90.2 made 335 runs. From the team, Clark made 65 runs and Ed Bernard 75 runs which meant they also scored a half-century. Earlier, He had taken 13 wickets in three matches, including five wickets against Gloucestershire.

It is the fourth match in the county of player Ashwin as officially he is given relaxation by the Indian selectors from the ongoing one-day series against Australia. The Indian team is scheduled to play the Fourth ODI against Australia in Bengaluru today. The series which is hosted by India has swept the Aussies in last three ODIs and they are leading the series with 3-0. In today's match, they will look forward to whitewashing Australia as they will try to end the series with 5-0.

Ashwin plays as an all-rounder for Tamil Nadu cricket team and South Zone. In the Indian Premier League Ashwin had played for  Chennai Super Kings. In the 2010 Champions League Twenty20 tournament for Chennai Super Kings, he was the highest wicket-taker.
