In the ongoing  ICC Women's World Cup the match yesterday was played between Australia and India in which the Australia thrashed India by eight wickets. Indian team while batting first could make  276 runs in 50 overs.

Smriti Mandhana got out in the fourth wicket and opener Punam Raut made 106 runs in 136 balls with 11 boundaries. Mithali Raj scored 69 runs in 114 deliveries. In 47th over India's third wicket fell.

Megan Schutt and Ellyse Perry took two wickets each.India will now have to beat New Zealand in their final group game on Sunday to book their place in the semi-final.
