Amitabh Chaudhary the acting secretary of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) yesterday revealed that the board has adopted all the recommendations of the Justice Lodha recommendations, except five which have some practical difficulties.
In the Special General Meeting ( SGM) held yesterday Chaudhary after that said "The agenda of the SGM was to discuss the implementation of Lodha reforms. We have adopted the reform and also pointed out some areas of difficulty. A unanimous resolution is adopted and we have adopted the recommendations as far as possible,"
The five points which have not been implemented by the cricket board are the age restriction of 70 years for board officials, the tenure cap of nine years with cooling-off periods, the one-state-one-vote policy limiting the number of selectors to three and nine-member apex council.
