Late actress Reema Lagoo has last seen in Mahesh Bhatt's tele show Naamkarann wherein the actress played the role of a conservative mother Dayawanti Mehta. Her co-star Sayantani Ghosh, who played the daughter-in-law of her in the show expressed her grief.

The emotional Sayantani said, "Words can't express what I feel. It's numbness of another kind. Shall always remember her fondly.. so many sweet memories..."

Mahesh Bhatt also expressed his grief, "The sudden death of a dear friend hurls one into deep silence. She was a great actor and a greater human being."
