tyle="text-align:justify">Wednesday;June 15, 2016: Manas Bhuniya,the senior congress leader and party MLA’s anticipatory bail petition in relation with the murder of a TMC supporter  has been discarded by the district and sessions judge of Midnapore district court.

Bhuniya was among 17 others named in an FIR filed by the wife of Dibakar Jana, a TMC supporter, who was murdered near Sabang on April 8 this year, ahead of the state Assembly elections.

The Congress leader had moved an anticipatory bail petition with the court soon after, which was rejected today by district and sessions judge Ashutosh Kar.

Bhuniya had won the elections by a at ease margin of over 49,000 votes beating his nearest rival Nirmal Ghosh of the Trinamool Congress.
