In the Ganga cleaning matter the National Green Tribunal today adjourned it till tomorrow. The government of Uttar Pradesh wants some more time and the reason that they gave is that the formation of new government and soon the chief secretary will change.
However, the tribunal told the Uttar Pradesh Government to stop discussing political matters and take up drain issue due to which Ganga is polluted.
The NGT today heard the matter for some time and then adjourned it till tomorrow because of the absence of officers of Uttar Pradesh.
