The scheme will be launching by the Government, named ‘Lucky Grahak Yojna' for consumers, which will be commencing from 25^th December 2016 and lasts till 14^th April 2017, (a day of Baba Sahib Ambedkar Jayanti), after which the consumers will be awarded with a mega prize of Rs. 1 crore for making digital payments. There will be daily, weekly, and mega draws. 

Along with this, another scheme for Merchants will also be commencing, titled ‘Digi Dhan Vyapari Yojana’. The mega prize for this scheme will be Rs.  50 Lakh. This information was announced by the CEO of NITI Ayog 'Amitabh Kant'.

Only, UPI, USSD, Rupay Card, Adhar Enabled Card will be valid for the scheme , but not digital payment wallets.
