Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dehradun, Uttarakhand addressed the Parivartan Rally, where he told the audience that India will be able to fully eradicate corruption. He also thanked people for attending and supporting him by their presence in the rally.

While inaugrating the 900 km 'Chardham Highway' development programme he said "The inauguration of Char Dham Project is a tribute to those who lost their lives during Uttarakhand flash of floods." He further added and said "There was a time in this country when people had to visit the houses of politicians just to acquire a gas cylinder or connection."

He also mentioned that within 1000 days, all villages would be electrified. He reminded the people about abolition of interviews for the position of class III and class IV govt. posts. This is announcement was also to kill corruption. Now, the jobs will be given on the merit basis to end corruption."
