India defeats West Indies in the third ODI of the five-match series

The third ODI of the five-match series was yesterday played between India and West Indies at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The  West Indies won the toss and opted to field.

The Indian players Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli got out early but Ajinkya Rahane made 50. With the performance of  Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Indian team could make a score of 251/4 in 50 overs.

The West Indies while chasing the target could not make the targeted score and India defeated the former by 93 runs. With this win, the Indian team is now in the 2-0 lead.

The fourth ODI of the five-match series between  India and West Indies is scheduled to be played on July 2.
