The Third ODI of the ongoing fifth match series between India and Australia was played yesterday at the Holkar Stadium, Indore. The Men in Blue defeated the Australian team by five wickets. With this win now the Indian Men cricket team takes a 3-0 lead in the series. 

The Aussies won the toss and elected to bat first. In their inning, they made 293 runs which Indian team scored with 13 balls and five wickets remaining in hand. The Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Rahane scored 71 and 70 runs. Indian captain Virat Kohli scored  28 runs off 35 balls. The Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya scored top score with 78 runs. His wicket was taken by the Pat Cummins. For his great performance, he has declared as the Man of the Match.Kedar Jadhav scored two runs. Manish Pandey and M.S. Dhoni remained not out.

The Indian bowlers also performed great as Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets for 52 runs as well as spinner Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets for 75 runs. However, Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya settled with one wicket each. 

The Australian team for this ODI match had made changes in the team. Players Aaron Finch and Peter Handscomb replaced Hilton Cartwright and Matthew Wade. Though, Indian team didn't make any changes.

The Fourth ODI between both the teams is scheduled to take place at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
