In the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup semi-final yesterday the match was played between India and Australia at the county ground in which the Indian women cricket team successfully defeated Australia.
Due to rain, the match was reduced to 42 overs. Indian team made 281 runs and gave a target of 282 runs to Australia which they could not make as they were bowled out for 245 in the 40th over.
India will face hosts England in what could be expected as a cracker of a final on Sunday at the iconic Lord's.
