Karan Johar is the one filmmaker who never fails to impress the audience with his films. Whether his first directorial Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or his last release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, each film created magic on the screen. But Karan feels Bollywood movies are a tad bit too overdramatic.

He recently said, "People say Hindi films are theatrical and dramatic, but somewhere its roots are in real life. I have been at a Shaadi ka mandap when the love of my life was getting married to somebody else. When it happens to you, you feel like you can't get over what's happening to you." Karan added, "A happy marriage in the industry would really jolt me. I'd be like, 'You're a dinosaur, get out of here'." He quipped when asked to choose between being in love or be single, "True love goes away, lust takes over at times, so I would be rich and single." On heartbreak, he said, "Make your work your ambition. Not your love life."
